Percentage of Cabinet Appointees with Job Experience
This showed up in my mailbox and it was too “real” not to post:
Past presidents and the percentage of each president’s cabinet appointees who had previously worked in the private sector. You know a real life business, not a government job? Remember what that is? A private business? A job that actually produces things?
- T. Roosevelt – 38%
- Taft – 40%
- Wilson – 52%
- Harding – 49%
- Coolidge – 48%
- Hoover – 42%
- FDR – 50%
- Truman – 50%
- Eisenhower – 57% (The good ol’ days)
- Kennedy – 30%
- LBJ – 47%
- Nixon – 53%
- Ford – 42%
- Carter – 32%
- Reagan – 56%
- GHWB – 51%
- Clinton – 39%
- GWB – 55%
And the winner is……………………
- Obama – 8%
Yep, eight percent! And these are the guys who held a “job summit” last week. Guess that’s why we were promised if that huge spending bill was passed, unemployment would not reach 8%. Let’s see, I think they were celebrating this last week because it was “only” 10%. Now we know why. They’ve all lived their whole lives working for the government. Remember – the government does not produce anything. If the government gives something to someone; that means that it has had to take it away from someone else. All the people in this administration only know how to take things from some people and (after taking their cut) giving the balance to someone else.
We’ve handed our nation over to a bunch of children. Whatever happens to the United States in the next seven years, we can never claim that it was undeserved. These are the idiots we voted for. That makes us, the American people, the real idiots.
