The Success of Surrender
Great Britain has been tightening it’s anti-gun laws for several decades now, while at the same time relaxing prosecution and sentencing for violent offenders.
The mandantory minimum sentence for carrying a gun illegally is five years, while murders are routinely sentenced to prison for much shorter terms.
To further exacerbate their problems, the British government has aggressively prosecuted private citizens for defending themselves or other citizens against criminals.
Where have these policies led Great Britain? The Times Online now reports that British parents are purchasing stab-proof and bullet-proof vests for their children.
Yes, British criminals are now so unafraid of the law that they attack children at will — and law-abiding British subjects are so defenseless that all they can do it wear body armor to lessen the blows.
This is the success of surrender — the surrender of the rights of individual citizens to government and the surrender of civilized society to criminals.
