Some Good News in the Race Wars

This may have seemed like a bad week in the race wars, the Don Imus showing the entire country what a jackass he is — only to be upstaged by Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, two of the most prominent racists in the nation.

But, there really is good news in the race wars this week — both in the short term and the long term.

In the short term, the baseless prosecution against the Duke Lacrosse players was dropped. Those boys were only being charged because they were white and their accuser was black. This was obvious to everyone, but it took a long time for someone to do something about it.

That is small news, however, compared to some good data that was published by Stanford University sociologist Michael Rosenfeld. Rosenfeld calculates that more than seven percent of the nation’s 59 million married couples were interracial in 2005, compared to less than two percent in 1970.

What will happen to racists like Don Imus, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson when we’re all one big race — Americans? What will happen to racist government programs like affirmative action and school busing? What will people put down on the school enrollment forms and firearm purchase forms when they don’t fit any of the governments racial categories?

When this trend finally runs its course, there will be no more talk of race. We will become a race known as Americans, a race made up of people of all colors but with one idea — the idea that people can live together in peace and freedom.

One of the things that happened in the Duke case was that you have a city that is over %60 black, and a DA that was up for re-election. He used the hell out of the Lacrosse case in order to get re-elected, and things got out of control with him. But, instead of admitting the truth when the DNA evidence started coming in, he decided to hide the evidence in order to keep the racial case going on.

Well, after things started to become unraveled, charges were made against him with the NC Bar, and the case was turned over to the NC Attorney General. The AG decided that there was no merit in the case, and he even stated that the DA had gone overboard and maliciously prosecuted these kids. Last we know, as of 4/13/17, DA Mike Nifong was in front of the NC Bar, so it will be a few days before we find out. I will post what happens.
