Peter Schiff for Senate
Politics — By admin on October 13, 2009 at 5:44 pmPeter Schiff, author of Crash Proof: How to Profit From the Economic Collapse, has made the decision to run for Congress.
Schiff will be competing for the senate seat vacated by the disgraced kleptocrat Chris Dodd. Dodd chose not to run for reelection after 2008 and 2009 poll numbers of Connecticut voters showed minimal chances for him to retain his senate seat.
Schiff is the president of Euro Pacific Capital and served as an economic advisor to Ron Paul during his recent presidential campaign.
Peter’s decision to campaign is largely the result of a citizen draft. Fans put together a montage of Peter’s economic predictions in the press and uploaded it to YouTube as Peter Schiff was Right. The video and it’s follow-up videos have generated millions of views on YouTube and created a grassroots movement to draft Peter for the U.S. Senate.
Peter’s official campaign site is Schiff For Senate. You can get a quick feel for who Peter is by reading a Washington Post interview with him: Hard-Core Free-Marketeer.
