Violence at Occupy Wall Street

Violence at Occupy Wall Street

Violence by Occupy Wall Street protesters has spread to demonstrations across the nation, with thousands of rioters arrested and dozens of police officers injured. Ed Mullins, president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, explained “New York’s police officers are working around the clock as the already overburdened economy in New York is being drained by ‘occupiers’ who intentionally and maliciously instigate needless and violent confrontations with the police.” More than twenty New York city police officers have been injured by the protesters.

Here is a photo of Felix Rivera-Pitre, an HIV-positive protester, assaulting a New York city police officer:

AnkaKarewicz posted this photo from Occupy Oakland, showing that the event organizers were training the protesters how to assault peace officers:

Here is a video of an Occupy Oakland protesters admitting that protesters were pelting the peace officers with bottles and rocks before the police were forced to use tear gas:

The protesters at Occupy Phoenix have been distributing a leaflet titled “When Should You Shoot a Cop” which advocates the murder of law enforcement officers.

Protesters at Occupy Boston assaulted a young female member of America’s Coast Guard by spitting at her and throwing a bottle at her.

The Boston police are investigating threats made to their officers by Occupy Boston organizers, protesters, and sympathizers.

A protesters at Occupy Wall Street was arrested by police after he threatened to stab reporter John Huddy. The protester, Dustin Taylor, of Millerburg Ohio, was charged with grand larceny, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and harassment.

New York police also arrested a man for making death threats against a woman, because she reported an assault to the NYPD. The protester, Hasan Castillo, of East Orange New Jersey was arrested, but police as still searching for two accomplices. They men apparently told the woman “You had our friend arrested — we’re going to kill you. Watch your back.”

This speaker at Occupy LA explains that non-violence will not work and that violence is necessary to achieve the Occupiers goals:

It isn’t only that the protesters are engaging in violence, or that the organizers are encouraging violence. To make matters worse, the organizers are discouraging event participants from reporting violence and other crimes to the police as part of their media management strategy. Victims of violence, including sexual assault, are being pressured to let these crimes go unreported so as to prevent media coverage of these incidents. One police officer described the grim situation in Zuccotti Park, “There is a lot of infighting in the park. There is one part of the park where they won’t even go at night.”

The United States Falls in World Bank’s Doing Business Rankings

The United States Falls in World Bank’s Doing Business Rankings

Every year, the World Bank ranks the world’s nations in terms of how easy it is to conduct business in each country. These rankings are extremely useful in determining which countries will benefit from improved economic performance and which countries will suffer from falling economic performance.

The World Bank recently published its Doing Business report for 2012 and the news for Americans is not good. The U.S. fell in five categories and improved in none — none.

Category 2011 2012 Drop
Starting a Business 11 13 -2
Dealing with Construction Permits 17 17
Getting Electricity 16 17 -1
Registering Property 11 16 -5
Getting Credit 4 4
Protecting Investors 5 5
Paying Taxes 70 72 -2
Trading Across Borders 20 20
Enforcing Contracts 7 7
Resolving Insolvency 14 15 -1

It is now more difficult to start a business, get electricity, register property, pay taxes, and resolve insolvency in America. These are the results of a government which has grown out of control in both scope and size. There is no hope for an economic recovery in the United States until the government is prevented from destroying American business.

Sexual Assault and Rape at Occupy Wall Street

Sexual Assault and Rape at Occupy Wall Street

A 19yr old girl was sexually assaulted at Occupy Cleaveland. Event organizers placed the girl in a tent with a male protester and she awoke to discover him molesting her. The attacker, known only as “Leland”, has not yet been found and event organizers claim to not know who he is.

A 14yr old runaway was sexually assaulted by an adult male at Occupy Dallas. The young teenager reportedly had sex with several protesters at the event.

A young woman was sexually assaulted at Occupy Portland, but no details of the assault are being made public.

At Occupy Glasgow, a young woman was gang raped by at least three protesters.

Occupy Baltimore received some unwelcome public interest when it was caught discouraging rape victims from reporting their assaults to the police.

Occupy Wall Street staff repeatedly prevented girls from reporting fellow protester Dave Park for numerous incidents of unwanted sexual contact. Instead, they used “intervention” and “counseling.” It was only after Mr. Park’s crimes became public knowledge that the organizers turned Mr. Park over to the NYPD for arrest and prosecution.

These reported sexual assaults and rapes represent the tip of an iceberg — and iceberg hidden underneath layers of obstruction and media manipulation. Occupy Wall Street event organizers claim that they are not able to control the activities of event participants, but it is important to note that no activities of this type have occurred at the much larger Tea Party events across the nation.

Antisemitism at Occupy Wall Street

Antisemitism at Occupy Wall Street

Leftists in the mainstream media are attempting to bury the truth that the Occupy Wall Street protests are hotbeds of antisemitism.

The antisemitism should not be surprising, as many of the protest organizers have long histories of antisemitic activity.

Courtesy of Mike P, we have this image of a Day of Rage protester sharing his “thoughts” on what is troubling the United States:

  1. Wall St. Jews
  2. Jewish Billionaires
  3. Jews & Federal Reserve Bank

I’m not sure, but I think I see a theme here:

Not to be outdone in the racism department, the Occupy Los Angeles protesters are determined to compete with their national socialist brothers in New York. Here are some Occupy Los Angeles signs photographed by Pajamas Media:

Here is a video from Charles C. W. Cooke of the National Review. This video shows a protester who calls himself “Lotion Man”, but whom the NYPD refers to as “Danny Cline.” In this video, Danny is screaming “You’re a bum, Jew” and “Go back to Israel” at a Jewish man:

Here is another Occupy Wall Street protester explaining to Glenn Beck TV how the Jews control America’s “media, finance, and other areas of production.”

Here is part two of the interview, with even more racism:

And then we’re back to Occupy Los Angeles with government employee Patricia McAllister, who tells Reason TV, “I’m here representing myself but I do work for the Los Angeles Unified School District. I think that the Zionist Jews who are running these big banks and our Federal Reserve — which is not run by the federal government — they need to be run out of this country.”

Here is a video from Rebel Pundit showing the crowd at Occupy Chicago cheering Hatem Abudayyeh while he calls for the destruction of Israel.

Here are protesters at Occupy San Diego carrying signs and explaining how the Jews executed the 9/11 attacks on America:

Nathalie Rothschild, a freelance reporter for the Huffington Post, wrote a nice piece on the Occupy Wall Street protests, only to be viciously attacked for being Jewish and for having the surname Rothschild.

Hate Is Not an American Value

The Emergency Committee for Israel has produced this concise and powerful video expressing their concern over this issue:

Antisemitism at these occupations continues. If you know of additional instances of antisemitism, please let us know in the comments to this post.

Herman Cain Proves Me Wrong

Herman Cain Proves Me Wrong

The Real Clear Politics polling averages for the 2012 Republican Presidential nomination now show Herman Cain in second place, a hairs breadth behind Mitt Romney:

  1. Romney – 23.5
  2. Cain – 23.2
  3. Perry – 12.8
  4. Gingrich – 8.3
  5. Paul – 8.0
  6. Bachmann – 4.7
  7. Huntsman – 1.8
  8. Santorum – 1.6

Romney’s support has been level for a long time, neither growing nor shrinking.  Support for Cain, on the other hand, has skyrocketed and shows no signs of slowing.  Cain has steadily overcome limited name recognition and built an extremely successful national campaign with very little funding and no support from the traditional Republican establishment.  The frugality of Cain’s campaign makes it a model for any political organization and a shining example of Cain’s ability to create efficient organizations.

A Thinning Herd

Candidates will slowly drop out of the campaign, and most of their supporters will choose from the remaining candidates.  Mitt Romney can be expected to pick up all of Huntsman’s supporters (1.8) and most of Gingrich’s supporters (8.3).  This will put Mitt at 33.6.

Cain can be expected to pick up Santorum’s supporters (1.6) and Bachmann’s supporters (4.7).  In addition, Cain can be expected to pick up the majority of Perry’s supporters (12.8).  This will put Herman at 42.3.  Even if half of Perry’s supporters go to Mitt’s camp, this still puts Cain at 38.3 and Mitt at 37.6.

This is a fight for control of the Republican Party.  This is a contest between the limited government Republicans spread out across America and the big government Republicans concentrated inside the Washington beltway. This is a battle between people who want to do business as usual and people who want to enact sweeping changes to clean up issues in Washington and in the nation as a whole.

Cain vs. Obama

At this point, it appears that any Republican candidate should be able to beat Barack Obama.  As an incumbent, Obama will be forced to run on his record — and his record is dismal.  Barack Obama and his Democratic allies in Congress have caused enormous damage to the American economy and must be removed from power.  Americans will not vote for a man who has increased the public debt by $4.2 Trillion while destroying the jobs of 2.22 Million Americans.

Cain cannot run on his political record.  On the other hand, he has an impressive career managing and turning around large organizations — making them efficient and profitable.  Cain’s track record of success through personal effort stands in stark contest to Obama’s track record of failure and responsibility avoidance.  Cain’s mere presence makes it obvious that Obama is nothing but a spoiled child.  The American voters, I believe, are ready to elect a responsible adult to take their nation back from the brink of disaster.
