Opus Comic Censored

Opus, a left-wing coming by Berkeley Breathed, has been annoying American conservatives for years. The comic strip regularly takes pot shots at America and American values.

The comic strip found itself unexpectedly censored this weekend when 25 newspapers refused to print a plot line concerning one of the characters conversion to radical Islam.

I would not support these newspapers censoring the Opus comic when it makes fun of Christianity and I do not support these newspapers censoring the Opus comic now that it has set it’s sights on Islam.

If your local newspaper doesn’t print this cartoon, I recommend that you can your subscription and let them know why you are canceling your subscription.  Freedom of Speech is a very important value for the American culture, and this is an important step in preserving that freedom.
