Charlton Heston
Charlton was ranked #28 in Empire (UK) magazine's "The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time" list. Charlton is the Co-chairman of the American Air Museum in Britain. Charlton was elected First Vice-President of the NRA in 1997 and was elected President in 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001. Charlton was President of the Screen Actors Guild from 1966 to 1971. Charlton volunteered his time and effort to the Civil Rights movement in the 1960s, and marched alongside the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on a number of occasions. In the original (uncut) version of "King: A Filmed Record... Montgomery to Memphis" (1970), he appears as a narrator.
