Wilt Chamberlain
Wilt was born in Philadelphia and graduated from the University of Kansas. NBA Rookie of the Year (1960). Wilt was named the NBA Most Valuable Player four times (1960, 1966, 1967, 1968) and was named an NBA All-Star thirteen times (1960-69, 1971-73). Wilt campaigned for President Nixon in 1968 and served as a Nixon delegate to the 1968 Republican Convention.

Charles Barkley
Charles played 16 seasons in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers (1984-85 to 1991-92), Phoenix Suns (1992-93 to 1995-96), and Houston Rockets (1996-97 to 1999-2000). Charles was voted one of the NBA's fifty greatest players of all time. Barkeley is contemplating running for Governor of Alabama on the Republican ticket.

Arnold Schwarzenegger
Born the son of a police officer in Austria, Arnold is the very definition of a self-made man. Arnold became a U.S. citizen in 1983. Arnold graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior with a major in international marketing of fitness and business administration. Arnold has received an honorary Doctorate from his alma mater, the University of Wisconsin Superior and from Chapman University in Orange, California. Arnold was ranked #20 in Empire (UK) magazine's "The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time" list. Arnold was recently elected Governor of California.

Al Leiter
New York Mets All-Star Al Leiter campaigned for George W. Bush in Florida for his 2000 election. Al is an avid coordinator and participant in aid organizations. After signing a four-year, $32 million contract with the Mets in 1998, Al publicly pledged to donate $1 million to kids' causes, mostly through a foundation he and his wife started and ran. Among his gifts to the communities was his establishment of a tutoring project in Harlem and a $100,000 donation for the construction of a Little League baseball field in his hometown of Toms River, New Jersey. Al is contemplating a campaign for the U.S. Senate from his home of New Jersey in 2008.

Jesse Ventura
In November 1990, professional wrestler turned actor Jesse Ventura was elected to a four-year term as mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. In November 1998, Ventura, as a member of the Reform Party, was elected Governor of Minnesota. Jesse is a former U.S. Navy SEAL.

Chuck Norris
Chuck Norris is an Executive Producer of Walker, Texas Ranger as well as the actor in the title role. Norris is familiar to fans worldwide as the star of action films including The Hitman, Delta Force, and Delta Force II. He also starred in Missing in Action and its sequels, Firewalker and Sidekicks. Norris was born Carlos Ray in Ryan, Oklahoma. The eldest of three children, he helped his mother raise his two younger brothers in Torrance, California, where his family moved when he was 12. Norris joined the Air Force after graduating from high school. During a stint in Korea, he began to study the Asian martial art of Tang Soo Do. After returning home, Norris worked for Northrop Aviation and moonlighted as a karate instructor. Two years later, he was teaching full-time and running a number of martial-arts schools. In 1968, Norris became the Professional World Middleweight Karate Champion. He held the title undefeated until he retired in 1974. He is a black belt in Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwan Do, both Korean fighting arts. In 1969, he earned the Triple Crown for the highest number of tournament wins, and was named Fighter of the Year by Black Belt magazine. By the time he was 34, Norris had established 32 karate schools and had been a champion for six years. In 1996, he became the first Westerner to be awarded an eighth-degree black belt in Tae Kwan Do. Chuck is the author of the books The Secret of Inner Strength and The Secret Power Within - Zen Solutions to Real Problems.. He works for many charities, including the Funds for Kids, Veterans Administration National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans, the United Way Make-a-Wish Foundation, and Kick Drugs Out of America, a nonprofit organization he created to help battle drugs and violence in schools. Chuck campaigned for President Bush in 1998. Chuck received the "Veteran of the Year 2001" honor at the 6th Annual 'American Veteran Awards'.

Patrick Johnson
Patrick played just one year of football at Redlands High but earned All-San Gabriel Valley League honors by rushing for 780 yards and 12 touchdowns on 108 carries, in addition to catching 31 passes for 312 yards. Patrick was voted team captain and most inspirational player. Patrick won California state championships in the 100- and 200-meter dashes in high school and represented the U.S. on the junior national team. Patrick was named prep All-America by Track and Field News. Patrick pledged money for the Ravens/Police Athletic League Challenge of Champions. Patrick modeled in a Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Show to help raise money for the Living Classrooms Foundation of Baltimore, an educational program that targets at-risk youth ... Spearheaded the fifth annual "Baltimore Reads Books for Kids Day" at Baltimore Polytechnic High School in 2000, helping the group collect nearly 25,000 children's books that were distributed to low-income families. Patrick volunteers with GOPAC and plans to enter politics when he leaves professional football.

Karl Malone
Karl Malone started really playing basketball at the age of 20, which is surprising to most since he is now, one of the greatest power forwards to every play the game of basketball. Karl grew up in a small town of a little more than 200 people. He was born in Summerfield, Louisiana. Karl Malone played college ball at Louisiana Tech where he was just developing his true potential. His free throw percentage was in need of improvement. After leaving Louisiana Tech Karl Malone took his chances with the NBA and entered the 1985 NBA Draft.
Karl was nicknamed "The Mailman" while he played at Louisiana Tech because he always delivers. The 15 year Utah Jazz went from a small farm boy who knew nothing about Utah, to being the star and leader of the team. Karl Malone has been the MVP twice in 1996-97 and 1998-99 and 14 out of his 15 years in the NBA he has been an All-Star selection. Karl being the great power forward that he is was named one of the "50 Greatest Players in NBA History". Karl Malone is an 11 time All- NBA First Team selection.

Mike Ditka
Iron Mike was an All-American at Pitt in 1960, the NFL Rookie of Year in 1961, and a 5-time Pro Bowl tight end for Chicago Bears. Mike returned to Chicago as head coach in 1982 and won Super Bowl XX in 1986. Mike left the Bears in 1992 and worked as a broadcaster at NBC for four years. Mike coached the New Orleans Saints from 1997-99.

John Elway
John led the Denver Broncos to five victories in six AFC championship games and two Super Bowl wins. John played in nine Pro Bowl games, and was a first or second-team All-Pro choice three times and a first or second-team All-AFC choice five times. John was also named the NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1987, AFC Offensive Player of the Year in 1993, and Super Bowl XXXIII Most Valuable Player.
