Charles Rangel Should Resign

Charles Rangel is caught. When you’re caught, you’re caught — and there’s no denying that Charles Rangel is caught.

• Charlie got caught hiding a Congressional Federal Credit Union account valued at $250,000.
• Charlie got caught hiding $1M from the sale of a building in New York City.
• Charlie got caught illegally using a rent-controlled property in New York City for business purposes.

In total, Rangel got caught hiding $3M in income just between 2002 and 2006.

And yet, Charlie is still in Congress, is still the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, and still enjoys the strong support of Nancy Pelosi and his fellow congressional Democrats.

It’s time for Charlie Rangel to resign.

It’s time to end this culture of corruption in Washington.
