Veteran’s Disarmament Act

Larry Pratt over at News With Views has pointed out an extremely dangerous provision in HR 2640: To improve the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, and for other purposes. Larry calls HR2640 the Veteran’s Disarmament Act because of the special dangers it poses to America’s combat veterans.

Gun Owners of America has published a comprehensive list of Problems With The New Federal Gun Control (HR 2640).

The act passed the U.S. House by a voice vote. This allows your congressional representatives to take away your Constitutional rights and then try to avoid taking personal responsibility for their callow and uninformed action.

The bill was referred to the U.S. Senate and is now in the Committee on the Judiciary. I urge you to contact your state senators today and tell them to kill this bill or face the consequences of angry voters.
