Bianchi Accumold

Sunday, October 28th, 2007 | Posted in Tactical Equipment | No Comments »

I just ordered another Bianchi Accumold magazine pouch.

These really are the best mag pouches manufactured today, for several reasons:

  • Very effective pressure retention — no flaps to get in the way and no snaps or Velcro to make noise.
  • The ballistic weave exterior is extremely durable and looks good even after years of abuse.
  • The simple construction is more sturdy than many of the popular “plastic” mag pouches.

After using the Bianchi Accumold magazine pouches extensively, I can recommend them without reservation.

Veteran’s Disarmament Act

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007 | Posted in Politics | No Comments »

Larry Pratt over at News With Views has pointed out an extremely dangerous provision in HR 2640: To improve the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, and for other purposes. Larry calls HR2640 the Veteran’s Disarmament Act because of the special dangers it poses to America’s combat veterans.

Gun Owners of America has published a comprehensive list of Problems With The New Federal Gun Control (HR 2640).

The act passed the U.S. House by a voice vote. This allows your congressional representatives to take away your Constitutional rights and then try to avoid taking personal responsibility for their callow and uninformed action.

The bill was referred to the U.S. Senate and is now in the Committee on the Judiciary. I urge you to contact your state senators today and tell them to kill this bill or face the consequences of angry voters.

Hillary Clinton’s Cell Phone Scandal

Friday, October 19th, 2007 | Posted in Politics | No Comments »

In their book “Her Way,” Pulitzer-prize winning investigative reporters Jeff Gerth and Don Van Natta Jr. documented some very disturbing behavior on the part of our once-and-future First Lady.

Most of the book simply covers the usual maniacal behavior of any control-freak who is granted extreme amounts of power over others. One section, however, is of extreme interest because it involves both legal issues and current political issues.

Gerth and Van Natta document how Hillary listened to secretly recorded audiotapes of telephone conversations between Clinton opponents. These recordings were made by Clinton staff members during the 1992 Presidential campaign by monitoring cell phone frequencies.

This type of activity had been made illegal six years earlier, in the 1986 Stored Communications Law. Under U.S. Code Title 18, Part I, Chapter 121, Section 2701: Unlawful access to stored communications, Mrs. Clinton is potentially due for “a fine under this title or imprisonment for not more than 5 years, or both.”

But more than the legal implications to Mrs. Clinton personally is the message this sends to voters. Mrs. Clinton has voted against giving federal law enforcement officers the same powers and she willingly (and illegally) took upon herself.

Mrs. Clinton has yet to come clean with the voters regarding these incidents. She also has yet to explain why she feels it’s OK for her to listen to other peoples phone calls in advancement of her own person interests — while at the same time she feels that law enforcement should not have this same authority while they work hard to protect the citizens of this great nation from additional terrorist attacks.

Syria and Iran Developing Nuclear and Chemical Weapons and Delivery Systems

Secret services say Iran is trying to assemble a nuclear missile

The Iranian government has been successfully scouring Europe for the sophisticated equipment needed to develop a nuclear bomb, according to the latest western intelligence assessment of the country’s weapons programs. Scientists in Tehran are also shopping for parts for a ballistic missile capable of reaching Europe, with “import requests and acquisitions … registered almost daily”, the report seen by the Guardian concludes.

Unclassified Report to Congress on the Acquisition of Technology relating to Weapons of Mass Destruction and Advanced Conventional Munitions

A declassified report to the U.S. Congress on the acquisition of technology relating to weapons of mass destruction and advanced conventional munitions for 2004 indicates that in 2004, Syria “continued to seek help from abroad to establish a solid-propellant rocket motor development and production capability.” The report further states that Syria’s “liquid-propellant missile program continued to depend on essential foreign equipment and assistance–primarily from North Korean entities,” and that “Syria was developing longer range missile programs, such as the Scud D and possibly other variants with assistance from North Korea and Iran.”

U.S. seeks asset freeze on Syrian entities linked to WMD development

“Syria is using official government organizations to develop nonconventional weapons and the missiles to deliver them,” Stuart Levey, Treasury’s undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence, said in a statement. “We will continue to take action to prevent such state-sponsored WMD proliferators from using the international financial system.”

Dozens died in Syria-Iran missile test

Proof of cooperation between Iran and Syria in the proliferation and development of weapons of mass destruction was brought to light Monday in Jane’s Defence Weekly, which reported that dozens of Iranian engineers and 15 Syrian officers were killed in a July 23 accident in Syria.

According to the report, cited by Channel 10, the joint Syrian-Iranian team was attempting to mount a chemical warhead on a Scud missile when the explosion occurred, spreading lethal chemical agents, including sarin nerve gas.

Israelis seized nuclear material in Syrian raid

Israeli commandos seized nuclear material of North Korean origin during a daring raid on a secret military site in Syria before Israel bombed it this month, according to informed sources in Washington and Jerusalem.

Taken together, this is damning evidence that Syria and Iran are jointly seeking to acquire or develop both chemical and nuclear weapons — and the missile systems required to deliver them to U.S. allies such as Israel, Iraq, Turkey, and the many nations of Europe.

Iranian and Syrian claims that they are attempting to purchase nuclear power plants for “peaceful” activities do not hold up well in the light of this overwhelming evidence against their authoritarian regimes.

Roberto Madrazo is a Loser

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007 | Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »

It’s not just that Felipe Calderón beat him mercilessly in Mexico’s 2006 Presidential election. Roberto Madrazo has found a new way to be a loser — cheating at the Berlin Marathon.

Madrazo was caught by a computer chip carried by each runner in the marathon. The chip showed that during one leg of the race, he covered 15 kilometers in 21 minutes. That just happens to be faster than any human being can run.

Madrazo was declared the winner in the Mens Age-55 category, until his deception was discovered.

Mexico has had some very good leaders recently. Fox and Calderón are probably the two best Presidents in Mexican history.

It  is good to see that this latest round of chicanery will finally put an end to Roberto Madrazo’s political career and rid Mexico of one more dirty politician.

Wave bye-bye to Roberto!
