Frontlines of Freedom is a new web site and radio show for military members, veterans, and their families.
It is not commonly known that the size of the United States Armed Forces is limited by Congressional mandate. The Army is currently only allowed to have 514,000 soldiers — as opposed to the 1.6M soldiers the Army was allowed during the Korean War.
These limitations, and the increased demand for our worldwide peacekeeping efforts, have forced the armed forces to call upon the men and women of our armed forces to serve extended and repetitive deployments overseas. This creates hardships not only for our service members, but also for their families.
Our service members always need our support, but they need our support now more than at any time in recent history.
Frontlines of Freedom is broadcast on Wood Newsradio 1300 and you can listen the station online over the Internet here.

Technically, this is the “LED Incapacitator” from Intelligent Optical Systems, but the name “Vomit Flashlight” is more descriptive of its function.
The vomit flashlight is a non-lethal weapon which uses Light Emitting Diodes to blind and disorient opponents. It works by overwhelming the subject with a brilliant light that continuously changes its color and pulse patterns. The strangest thing is that it actually works.
The device uses a built-in rangefinder to set the light output to a safe level.
This animated cross section shows how red, green, and blue LEDs are focused through the optical plate:

The devices are still under development, but should be deployable by 2010. In addition to saving lives, this device may save a few people from being tasered.
The Internet is currently infested with moonbat web sites claiming that the 9/11 attacks were executed by lizards, space aliens, Jews, Republicans, or the CIA.
These people spew lies and half-truths. It can take many hours to straighten out any single one of their untruths, and there are literally hundreds of untruths to be straightened.
911 Myths and Debunking 911 are two web sites that can help.
These web sites attempt to create a comprehensive database of scientific and logical rebuttal to the mass of crazy moonbat theories about 911.
These web sites can’t force the loonies to believe anything reasonable, but they can help you to quickly understand the obvious flaws in the most common moonbat theories. This can save you a considerable amount of time when debunking these theories for reasonable conversation participants.
Digg.com is the most successful social bookmarking site on the Internet, but it has become annoyingly biased because of the mass of underage Digg users who are able to spend considerable amounts of time voting for an endless stream of juvenile articles that can all be characterized as anti-American, anti-war, and anti-Liberty.
GOPHub is hoping to capitalize on Digg’s failure to remain “fair and balanced.” On GOPHub, you can submit, vote on, and comment on editorials and links for conservative news articles, blog posts, videos, and photos — without seeing your posts be constantly voted down by a bunch of 14yr olds who believe that the CIA blew up the World Trade Centers.
As with all of these social bookmarking sites, GOPHub will only succeed if it grows to a critical mass of users fairly quickly, so please send the URL to all of your conservative friends. Let’s help the team at GOPHub make their project a success!
